Description
The Sunline Almight is a sinking PE Line with a Specific Gravity of 1.48 achieved by combining four ULT-PE materials and a high specific gravity fiber in the core. The name Almight has been derived from its all-around performance, which makes it an ideal option, not only for fishing with conventional PE line, but also for fishing with fluorocarbon, nylon, and ester lines.
The high Specific Gravity fiber in the core, prevents the line from floating and improves the handling of the lure by remaining mostly straight. The lighter Specific Gravity of a PE line , gives to a PE line an overwhelmingly long casting distance, but against strong winds, or when there are currents in the water, it can affect the line slack and affect the lure’s handling. Also, when a PE line floats, the trajectory connecting the lure and the line tends to be nearly perpendicular to the point of landing, creating resistance to a sinking lure, trying to reach the desired depth of the water column.
While it is a hybrid line made of different materials, the latest manufacturing technologies enabled the production of a braided line, that has higher Specific Gravity, compared to that of an 100% PE line, offering to the angler a new standard of control. The Sunline Almight remains straight, with strength that is comparable to products made of 100% PE material, is easier to control against strong winds, reduces problems that relate to tangles and short casting distance. The higher Specific Gravity also makes the line’s trajectory more linear with respect to the lure, making it even easier to feel the sensitivity of the Almight PE line.
The Sunline Almight Sinking PE Line is available in Olive color with Orange markings for visibility and camouflage. The olive color, on the other hand, is a camouflage color that has been requested for some time, especially by freshwater lure anglers. The olive color incorporates 50 cm of orange sandwiched by dark gray within a single 2-meter interval, creating a coloring that combines camouflage performance with moderate visibility.
