The Maxel Transformer reels are available in both left-hand and right-hand models, ideal for various technigues such as Inchiku, Kabura, Tenya, Heavy Soft Bait, Slow Pitch Jigging, Deep Trolling.

The newly launched Transformer F30 from Maxel is one of the smallest reels on the market. Weighing just 400 gr, the competitively priced jigging reel boasts high quality workmanship and a new feature magnetic cast assist to minimize unwanted bird’s nests.

Despite being compact and ultra-light, it is a tough reel that has a maximum drag of 20 kg and can accommodate 30 lb / 400 m of PE braided line. It is made of 9+2RB and has a double locking system for minimum spool backlash. Maxel’s unique carbon drag system delivers smooth drag performance even when it is wet. It comes at power ratio 5.3:1 .

Maxel has followed up the successful release of the F30, with the F40. They boast the same features and are designed with a gear ratio of 5.0:1 and a line retrieve of 85 cm. With a line capacity of 40 lb / 400 m and 50 lb / 400 m respectively, they have a powerful maximum drag of 22 kg.

All the reels come with a newly designed high leverage, aluminum handle and an ultra-light, EVA coated knobs. They are available as right or left-hand models and come in eye-catching colours. There is also a silent anti-reverse option.
