Description
This Saltist rod has been designed to offer a range of options for demanding anglers, targeting bream with vertical setups.
The Daiwa Saltist rod, is best set up with a bait casting reel, recommended for deep water work in strong currents, where heavy rigs are called for. This particular rod has the appropriate action to bring your jigs to life, in depths where presentation is paramount.
The Daiwa Saltist Tenya rod has progressive action and a very sensitive tip.
One manufacturing technology, worth stating is the MegaTop process. MegaTops action is identical at all angles of traction. The pre-impregnated material of solid carbon fibers, is spread in a uniform manner. This technology is superior to standard solid carbon, giving a tip section with optimal sensitivity without compromising on power or stability under any angle of traction. The solid carbon fibers are perfectly evenly dispersed around the tips central axis. MegaTop tip sections have no weak points. Their perfect curves are sensitive and can withstand tensions well. The resin pigments have been polymerised between each fibre.
Solid tips taper down during the tip wrapping process, thus producing a slim tip with optimal bite detection.
Despite the depth, this rod should be combined with very fine braid .
