Leading Japanese company Yamaga Blanks, has developed the Galahad Slow Jigging rods for the Overseas markets, combining high responsiveness, sensitivity and enormous strength. The Galahad Slow Global series, comprises of rods that can be used anywhere in the world and they are not dedicated to the fishing conditions in Japan.

Taking into consideration the various species and the different levels in the water column where action lays, Yamaga Blanks developed the Power Class for each rod, that determines the «Ideal Weight of the jig for each model, as well as the Comfort Weight. Overall there are 4 Galahad Slow rods that can be rigged with metal jigs between 80 to 500 gr.

The Ideal Jig Weight is printed on the top of the front grip. For example, number 100 means that this rod displays its best performance with an 100g jig. With the recommended Casting Weight being between 80 and 200 gr, means that any jig that weighs between 80 kai 200 gr can be worked with this rod. In the Galahad Slow series, the rods that combine flexibility and recovery force are the 621 and 622. Models 623 and 584 have a much stiffer tip and are good for quick action. The design of the blank has been perfected, to allow for a smooth transition between different jigging styles. As a result with the Yamaga Blanks Galahad Slow Global you can fish with Slow Pitch, or add speed in the jerks and switch to Fast Pitch jerking.

The Galahad Slow Global is a special jigging rods series, not sold in Japan, that offers flexibility to the end user. It addresses numerous fish species, the ability to perform various speed pitches and offers adequate power in the butt, so you can deeply bend the rod, when fighting big predators.

All the Yamaga Blanks Galahad Slow Global rods are mounted with a Baitcasting reel. The first three guides are triple legged, while the rest up to the tip are double legged.
