The sensitivity and length of the Tenryu Akuru SP make it an ideal rod for use with Soft, Silicone lures, in Wading fishing and other styles. The Silicone lures will react perfectly, in every possible way and type of rigging, with Jig Heads, Cheburashka Rig, Weedless, Texas Rig, etc. with the ideal weight of a rigged Silicone lure being from 14 to 21 gr.
