Savage Gear Sandeel V2 Weedless Hooks

The Savage Gear Sandeel V2 Weedless hooks are made of forged Carbon Steel, with tin finish and the extra sharp Nano point.

They are intendent for rigging the Savage Gear Sandeel V2 Weedless soft baits.

The Sandeel V2 Weedless hooks are of EWG type. The EWG hooks have been very popular for many years. You can easily tell them apart from the extra wide gap and from the tip of the hook, being directly in line with the eye of the hook. With a regular Texas-rig, the point of the hook is pushed through the entire cross section of the bait and when a bass bites the lure, the plastic bait is pushed down exposing the point. To ensure that the hook pushes through the body of the silicone lure and that it connects deep in the fish’s mouth, Savage Gear lifted the tip at a higher level than the eye and also incorporated a wider opening on the lures back. This way, you can not miss a fish.

The difference between the Savage Gear Minnow Weedless and the Sandeel V2 Weedless hooks, is the width of the gap. The Sandeel V2 Weedless hooks have a shorter bend compared to the Minnow Weedless, hence the tip of the hook is closer to the eye of the hook and is best suited to soft baits with slim profiles.
