The Nitecore NU40 headlamp is built to handle even the most tough activities, with a runtime of up to 120 hours on ultra-low mode and over 6 hours on high. It can be fully charged in just under 1.5 hours through its convenient fast-charging USB-C port.
The built-in rechargeable Li-ion 18650 / 2600mAh battery ensures that the flashlight will last for a whole night. The battery is integrated and not replaceable.
With standby power for up to a year, the NU40 is a great option for emergency kits. The proximity sensor is a unique feature that automatically dims the light when objects are near, reducing glare and preventing overheating. The NU40 also features a lock-out function and an ultra-low standby current, making it an ideal choice for emergency storage.
The design of the base allows the headlamp to be tilted / rotated with very little force and minimal displacement which greatly reduces the pressure on the front of the head. It also ensures greater stability and comfort during use without the headlamp shaking during intense movement. At the same time, the tilt of the lens can be adjusted quickly with one hand to select the desired position.
The headlamp base is 72° adjustable and can be quickly adjusted upwards to instantly direct the headlamp beam away from the eyes of other colleagues in emergency situations.
The Nitecore NU40 headlamp is paired with a well-designed elasti headband, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, even during intense activities. The headband is wider, more breathable, and stretchy, ensuring a comfortable fit for any head size. The LED assembly is protected by an aluminum frame, making it durable and resistant to impact. The entire headlamp is rated IP68 waterproof, making it suitable for even the toughest environments. The built-in proximity sensor, located in the head of the LED array, automatically dims the light when it comes into close proximity with obstacles, reducing glare, reflection, and preventing overheating.
