The Risky Player 56 series is the result of Maxels long experience in advanced rod building, utilization of technology and comprehensive field-testing.
The Maxel Risky Player 56-3 rod has been developed to be a unique, lightweight slow jigging rod, that overcomes the shortcomings of similar rods in the category. It encompasses the strength and action to bend towards fish and pump them to the surface.
The 56-3 features an one – piece, slender blank design, with perfect bending action, using Maxels carbon wrapping construction process for increased sensitivity and incomparable strength. The tip section is highly responsive, which allows anglers to work jigs all day long, without fatigue. Designed to have Fast Action blank, it’s also suitable for the High-Pitch action to seduce the fish into biting, when they are not so active, but can also be used as All Round models, for slow jigging in deep water. The rod is incredibly strong to get target fish away from the bottom of the water column.
The Risky Player 56 version has been designed for fishing in all water depths. Fishing at great depths creates strong resistance, but the shorter rod will help reduce the pressure on the arm, increase the feel of the jig’s action through the blank and deliver sensitive bite indication. Designed with a ‘hard belly’, the rods are suitable for the High Pitch technique and can create the most natural falling movement with jigs weighing 100-250 gr.
