Along with the Japanese market versions 762 and 782, which are mounted combined with a Spinning, or Baitcasting reel, Major Craft also produced 4 rods for Hitotsu Tenya in the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean rods are 2.40 long, can only be mounted with Spinning reels and include one version with Solid and one Tubular tip and different Casting Weight.
MajorCraft has introduced the Grandship line of rods, as an 1G class, which aims to offer performance, at an affordable price, while offering the same attention to detail of a Hitotsu Tenya specialty rod.
Hitotsu Tenua fishing can develop into a technique that requires experience and knowledge of technical fishing, for fishermen who want to expand their knowledge. At the same time it can also be a simple to perform fishing technique, in which we can use a Tenya jig and fresh Shrimps, that will allow us to spend our time with entertainment. The product designers of Major Craft, knowing that the Hitotsu Tenya style can bring about pleasant surprises, as it often offers us big and fighting catches, they designed the Grandship 1G by combining the sensitivity required in this kind of fishing, with the core strength required, when we have to face a worthy opponent.
With Action 7:3 the Major Craft Grandship 1G will bend in a parabolic manner in the front 30% of its length, while at the same time it will be rigid and powerful in the remaining 70% of its body.
The S762H/B is a rod to be mounted with a Baitcasting reel, for excellent bottom sensing. The sharp, solid tip and high-sensitivity blanks, quickly transmit the attack to the angler and the quick unwinding after touching the bottom prevents it from getting entangled at points targeting root fish, such as the Yellowtail Grouper.
The S762H is perfect for the Setouchi style, where live shrimp is actively used as bait. The powerful butt section provides excellent operability for Tenya and Kabura jigs. Small actions that take advantage of the H tension are also possible, when the fish seem inactive.
The T240 rods have a Tubular tip, with great sensitivity and a progressive Fast action. The Medium Heavy rods handle Tenya jigs between 30 and 90g, while the Heavy version handles jigs from 50 to 130 gr. They accurately transmit even the most subtle bite to your palm. They will perform impressive strikes and will absorb the torque of large fish with particular comfort.
The S240 rods have a Solid tip which makes them extremely sensitive, with a smooth and progressive, Extra Fast action. The Medium Heavy rods can handle Tenya jigs between 30 and 90g, while the Heavy version handles jigs from 50 to 130 gr. The Solid tip conveys all available information to you, without giving the slightest resistance to the fish that is biting relunctantly. This is how battles with large, suspicious fish are won, with a great success rate.
