Description

The 2023 Daiwa Crosscast, is a versatile range of saltwater rods, for spinning fishing. The Crosscast range includes a wide range of rods, to cover the needs for a number of fishing styles, yet we have selected the most popular ones for the mainstream, Mediterranean Spinning enthusiast.

It is not only the golden aesthetics that make these rods stand out, but also the technologies Daiwa has incorporated in the making. The blank is slimmer than the previous versions, while most of the technical specifications that made this rod series popular, namely lightness, responsiveness and low price, have remained unchanged. The absence of standard varnish and the coating using micropigmentation instead, helps to further reduce the weight of the rod and improve its sensitivity.

The Daiwa Crosscast range is equipped with Fuji Concept O rings. The exclusive Daiwa reel seat is one of the most ergonomic ones in the market, while the V-Joint spigot allow the rods to form the perfect bending curve.

V-Joint: The structure of the V-Joint is a Bias carbon coiled at 45 °. It improves the curvature and the action of the rod to the compression of the blank, during a launch or a fight. The Bias carbon of the V-Joint fitting has a perfect morphological memory and returns to its initial position as soon as the force exerted on the blank ends.

HVF: Reduction of the quantity of resin and increase of the degree of adhesion of the carbon fibers during the hot polymerization phase.

The carbon blank has been developed with the Braiding X technology, which provides a special carbon fibers reinforcement, at a 45° angle with respect to the axis. Braiding X wrap increases the strength and reliability of the blank. Its action is progressive.
