VARIVAS Avani IKA Metal Max Power PE x9 Multicolor

Description

A braided line, specifically designed by Varivas for the IKA Metal fishing style. The Avani IKA Metal Max Power PE x9 Multicolor uses five, fluorescent colors a different color every ten meters – that are easy to see even at night. Additionally, it features black markings every 1 meter to facilitate depth awareness.

The Avani IKA Metal braided line is made with Max Power PE fibers, which are 1.3 to 1.5 times stronger than ordinary PE lines, providing more power to bring the fish in, with less fighting time. MAX PE achieves the same tensile strength at a thinner diameter. However, Varivas did not stop here and utilized numerous other innovative technologies for the Avani IKA Metal PE x9 Multicolor braid.

The Varivas Avani IKA Metal Max Power PE x9 has been developed with the Core Input manufacturing method, in which a core of high-strength raw fiber , has 8 strands of MAX-PE fibers, wrapped around it. The Core-Input method achieves optimal stiffness and superior durability and strength. The appropriate level of stiffness of the braided line significantly reduces line troubles.

The Vertical Braid method achieves excellent linearity and an ultra-low stretch rate of around 3%. This ultra-low stretch can precisely convey, even the tiniest bites from small squid. Additionally, the improved linearity makes it less affected by currents compared to the standard PE lines, allowing for accurate depth awareness.

The SP-T II coating significantly increases durability and low water absorption, by covering the line’s surface with a resin layer. This allows the line to maintain high performance, even with lift-and-fall movements, where the line is subject to abrasion.

The SP-V is Varivas Coating process which smoothens the line. Casting distances will increase as a result and will drastically reduce line troubles as well. It is an environmentally friendly, original, non-fluorine coating, that creates a protective film on the surface, preventing water absorption and deterioration, improves abrasion resistance and casting distance.
